UK apparel brands Next and Dunnes Stores have entered into a contract manufacturing agreement Apparel 21, an integrated unit of FAMKAM.

The arrangement, which FAMKAM described as “an important step” in its European strategy, has already set in motion with the initial order in place and with few onboarding formalities due within this month.

F.M. Kabir Mohiuddin, the Managing Director of FAMKAM, said: “I am honored, on behalf of our entire team, to have the opportunity to become a partner of these important brands and introduce it to our production lines in Bangladesh. We look forward to a great partnership”.

The agreement comes as FAMKAM continues to oversee the revival of key manufacturing assignments during the post-pandemic phase, in support of high visibility brands, especially from Europe.
